During the 45 minute consultation, we'll discuss how electrolysis works, the frequency of your visits, what to expect after treatment and lastly answer any questions you have. IL State Regulated Profession - License Required

Lourdes also is proud to support the EAI by chairing the Bylaws committee. Lourdes enjoys mentoring Electrologist students and recent grads, and looks forward to attending continuing education

A tiny probe is inserted into each hair follicle. The Electrologist then releases a small amount of heat thru different settings of their machine. The heat releases the hair and root from the follicle.

Since there must be hair for the Electrologist to work with, you will come in with the frequency that your body dictates. Typically clients will come in at the same frequency that they wax, shave or tweeze. Most people begin with weekly appointments.

Laser works by finding the pigmentation of hair beneath the skin. There is an apparatus that is placed on the area you want worked on by the Laser Technician. With Electrolysis, the Electrologist will insert a needle into the hair follicle; one by one. The FDA recognizes laser as hair reduction . While Electrolysis is considered permanent hair removal.
